It's past 12:30 and the most productive thing I've done today was not fall back asleep for three hours when I woke up at 10:30. I'm not even dressed yet, I'm sitting here in my Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer pajamas trying to convince myself to go put a damn bra on.

Okay I got sidetracked and had to pee, so I'm finally dressed.

I guess another productive thing I've done was threaten the life of Erika Moen on Twitter, she's the artist of one of my favorite webcomics and she fucking ended it today. It wasn't even that long ago that I discovered it. I just bought a sculpture from her, so I feel I'm allowed to threaten her life, I've given her money. :P She's planning on more projects, I can only hope she'll do another funny comic. I understand "diary" comics have to end eventually because there's only so much a person's willing to share online, but uggghh.

I have a growing list of creative shit to do and I'm just sitting here being a lump. SIGH. At this point, lunch sounds amazing. It's now after 1pm and I've had a soda and a slice of sourdough-rye bread. Hmm.

I came across a site thanks to a friend, the short version is you get paid to click on ads. The slightly longer version is you answer a survey (lots of questions but it doesn't take long to get through it), and based on your answers, you're given a handful of ads to look at per week. It's not the usual boring shit, you get linked to sites you might actually be interested in because it really does customize your results to the information you share in the survey. It doesn't pay much at all, you get about five to ten cents per ad and don't get ads every day, but you're still earning money to look at sites that might interest you. You need a Paypal account, but all you give them is the email address you signed up to Paypal with, they don't ask for the password and they don't even ask for your home address. You get paid every Friday, I got $1.85 today. It's not even two dollars, but that's $1.85 more than I had, and it'll add up over time. Rapper Dolla is shot, killed at Beverly Center

Publicist says rapper was shot in the head this afternoon in the valet area of the mall's parking structure. He flew to L.A. this morning to work on his first album, slated to be out this summer.

I found this blog sometime last year after Googling my first name just to see what I'd get. Stats have changed, but when I found her, the blog was the second result on the page, so I found it immediately. And I am so incredibly glad I did. Heather's a SAHM who blogs for a living, she rakes in so much from her blog that their entire income is made thru it now. She lives with her husband Jon, their daughter Leta, and their two dogs, Chuck and Coco.

Heather is fucking hilarious. The way she words things is just comedy gold, a lot of her entries just leave me in stitches. If you need a good laugh, I suggest checking her out.

So I'm checking email, and at the top of the screen is the How-To Of The Day. Today's is "How to make a bowl from the crotch of a tree." It links me here. WikiHow.com, the same website with the waste-of-space page teaching you how to make a bracelet out of a rubber band. But back to the tree crotch...

Maybe this isn't a wtf for some of you, but never in my life have I heard a fork in a tree be considered the crotch of the tree.

As I said to Major Happypants, the title for step 1 cracks me up, the entire process is just nuts, and I can't believe someone took the time to make a "How to do this" page from it.
